Ark Lodge

Named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark Lodge in the Aberdare National Park has the shape of a wooden boat. It actually resembles the famous ark in more ways than one, what with the many animals attracted to the waterhole and salt lick underneath this hotel. The Ark is one of the only two hotels in the jungle of the Aberdare National Park and it has been there since the 1970s. It has relatively small rooms but huge chances to see the wildlife from the many balconies. There is also a walking bridge that allows for great views. All in all a good place to unwind at after your day of chasing waterfalls in Aberdare.
