Horseback rides are always exhilarating but riding along the banks of the river Nile and through Ugandan villages gives your ride a completely new dimension! Take a horse in the adrenaline capital Jinja, and go on rides in the areas surrounding the city.
Depending on your experience and time, well-trained guides and horses take you on rides of one hour to several days. You pass by different homes of people and the places where they work and get to see the daily life in rural Uganda. The ride then takes to you the river Nile, or (for longer rides) up the hills overlooking stunning sugar and tea plantations. A special ride is the sunset ride of 1,5 hours, where you experience the laidback atmosphere in late-afternoon villages and see the sunset over the river.
All rides can be private or in mixed groups, are for beginners as well as experienced riders, and are always on well-trained horses. Depending on your experience, you might just trot or do some cantering along the way. Each ride is joined by several amazing guides, to allow some to canter and others to just take it easy.
