The Hildana Lodge

The Hildana Lodge is at the foot of the Taita Hills, nestled in a private 5,000-acre conservation area. The exclusive property can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests. The 8 luxurious rooms (including a honeymoon suite), 5 double rooms, and 2 family units are each located in a detached cottage down a winding path in your own little piece of Kenyan wilderness. Here you experience absolute privacy.

All rooms are decorated in a mix of Mediterranean luxury and Swahili touches, and have an en-suite bathroom flooded with natural light, and a veranda. In the family units, you’ll also have an open-plan living area, and in the honeymoon suite, you find a large bathtub with views of the Taita Hills and your own secluded garden.

Indulge in light Mediterranean-inspired dishes at the restaurant and enjoy other common areas such as the lounge and the beautiful pool with incredible views. Also, you can visit the adjacent sisal estate. Last but not least, this property is right in the heart of the Tsavo elephant corridor and the nearby Hildana waterholes are the seasonal home to large herds of elephants and other animals. Thus, in the evening, you can watch elephants quench their thirst here.
